Nara Thai is already a well-established brand globally in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. Keeping true to that trend, Karyna Bajaj and the team at KA hospitality have brought the same quality and experience to Mumbai. Hailing from a family of food lovers and restaurateurs, Karyna and her family have introduced a restaurant that embodies the same ethos of exemplary food and service, but in a slightly more approachable way.

About

Renowned Thai interior decorator Nitipattara Yensup, who designed several Nara restaurants in Asia, envisaged a unique signature for Nara Mumbai. The space is defined by a warm and modern ambience inspired by a refined Thai architecture.

You see the representation of Thai architecture and its influences, the Thai stupa foundation and capital ornaments. The intricate Thai-style ceiling fans, ornate wood carvings with Thai motifs, and oriental porcelain vases are all reminiscent of Thailand.

Review

Nara Thai’s menu not only offers a notable vegetarian section of stir-fries and mockmeat curries, but also includes the delicious indulgences of meat and seafood for the purists. It is undoubtedly heaven for Thai food lovers, but qualifies as that classy establishment when you want to have dinner “someplace nice”. The food is refreshing yet familiar and their signature hospitality is reason enough to warrant a visit for a delicious meal in BKC.
